Fusing fine art and documentary styles, the shots were taken in Cairo and Tripoli and chart the progression of the Arab Spring, mirroring the tumultuous events that struck and continues to resonate through the Arab world as seen through the medium of street art and visualized in the gallery of the street. They offer new perspectives on the transnational and cosmopolitan aspects of societies in the Middle East and North Africa by showcasing its symbols and stereotypes in the form of street art and a representation of Arab popular culture.
